6^th Graders enjoyed cooking in English

Today was the last English class. We made “peanut butter and jelly sandwich”, a sandwich popular in America and “white mountain”, a drink popular in Canada.

Students listened to the instructions in English with English recipes. Students tried the new taste and were able to experience the difference of the culture.

6年生が英語でクッキングをしました。

アメリカでよく食べられる「ピーナッツバターとイチゴジャムのサンドイッチ」とカナダで人気のある飲み物「ホワイトマウンテン」を作りました。

指示を英語で聞き、レシピと作り方を英語で読み、理解して作ることができました。

食べてみようとする姿勢があり、ほとんどの児童が、おいしい！と言ってパクパクと食べていました。

他国の味を知り、異文化経験をすることができました。
