A teacher and a student came to Koka Gakuen Elementary School from New York, USA.
Koka Gakuen has been exchanging video letters, understanding each other’s culture and learning and the difference and the similarities from last year with a school in New York. On Friday, a teacher and a student came to visit us for a day. A teacher taught the Koka Gakuen students new songs and games. We are going to continue this relationship and make it affordable.
晃華学園小学校に、アメリカから先生と児童が遊びにきました！
晃華学園小学校は、昨年からアメリカのニューヨークにある小学校と提携を結んで、ビデオ交換などをしています。お互いの文化を学び、それぞれの違いや似ているところを感じながら異文化体験しています。その小学校から先生と児童がきて、一日を一緒に過ごしました。アメリカの先生は私たちに新しいゲームや歌を教えてくれました。また、児童は体育などに参加して授業を体験しました。
私たちは、ウェルカムパーティーを企画しておもてなしをしたり、６年生が日本の文化を体験できるようにブースを準備しました。今後もニューヨークの学校と連携しながら、お互いの学びに結び付けていく予定です。
